Holly Heider Chapple Flowers Ltd. has just received photos from yet another perfect wedding. These pictures are from a wedding last July. The photographer is Marc Kent Photography. I loved this wedding it was on the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain at the Strong Mansion. Nikole the bride and her mother were really wonderful to work with. They had a absolute vision and they knew I could deliver. The flowers were perfect, the venue extraordinary and these photos are pretty awesome as well. I hope to have more photos soon that show this whole event.  The colors of the day were sage green, cream and chocolate brown.
The bridal bouquet was created of cream and green roses, green cymbidium orchids, white stock, white phlox, white mini callas, green hydrangea from my garden, berzilia,  brown fiddle head fern and green coxcomb.

The girls bouquets were of cream hydrangea, the brown fiddle head fern and green accents we also used a special fern from Australia.

This is a fun shot of the wedding party.

This shot shows a more serious side as well as the beautiful views at Strong Mansion.

I  just love these photo’s also, I would never think black and white could do my flowers justice but it looks like Marc pulled it off.

I just received these images from Kristen Gardener Photography and I had to share them with you. This was one of my favorite weddings last year and I am so happy to have these pictures. I think Kristen did a wonderful job with the photos and I am so thankful to have these to show you.My bride was Katie and I just loved her and her mother. We had so much fun creating these designs.  Here is a picture of her bridal bouquet the colors of the day were cream and natural green with brown accents.

The brides bouquet was designed with a base of  white hydrangea, white roses, white freesia, and  white stephanotis. A pearl pin was inserted into the stephanotis bloom.

This is a shot of the happy bride and groom the wedding was held at the River Creek Country Club in Leesburg VA.

Here is a picture of the maids bouquets up close, they were simple and elegant. Each bouquet was created of white roses and green ivy and bound with white satin ribbon.

The ceremony was held in front of the fireplace, We planted large ivy pots in my  brown iron stands. We also marked the family reserved seating with ribbon and ivy.

The centerpieces were created in two heights this was the low centerpiece. I used a wonderful four legged urn with a mass of cream hydrangea, white roses, white spray roses, green ivy and brown birch branches.

The elevated centerpiece started with a ivy topiary and then we created a fresh flower arrangement around the potted plant. This was a great centerpieces and allowed the family to have something living after the wedding.

We at Holly Heider Chapple Flowers loved this wedding.  This was so very classic and elegant.

Last night was truly amazing. I met so many wonderful people my head is just buzzing with all of the possibilities.   We at  Holly Heider Chapple Flowers would like to thank Maria Cooke From Ritzybee for bringing us along to get Hitched.  Maria helped to put together a panel of wedding professionals for a little Q and A.   Anne Chertoff the editor of Brides.Com came from New York to host the event and interview our panel.  Many thanks to the girls at Hitched for allowing us to bombard their beautiful salon and to Design Cuisine for their inspiration and hard work. I hope you enjoy these pictures, they show just how beautiful the night was. We could not have asked for a better turn out there was not one seat left in the house. Thanks to everyone the night was a complete success.

Holly Chapple, baby Grace and Maria Cooke of Ritzybee and yes my flowers.

Anne Chertoff and the panel of  wedding vendors.  Yes, that’s me to the right. I really do get out of the flower cooler.

One of our beautiful floral designs surrounded by the unbelievable gowns at Hitched.

This table top was inspired by Bill from Design Cuisine. I could actually see the wheels turning in his head when I went for our concept development meeting. He is truly a amazing artist. It was such a pleasure to be given this blank canvas for my florals.  We created these arrangements in rectangular glass vases lined with red Ti leaves.  Each piece contained a mass of deep purple and wine mini callas, plum and wine colored ranunculus, hot lady roses, sweetness roses, black baccara roses, fiddle head ferns, silver brunia, deep purple orchids and red foliages. I have to say these were very sexy.

This table was truly divine, I loved every inch from the beautiful linens to the green glass. We can thank Kelly from Design for dreaming up this table. She loves it so much she is using it in June for her very own wedding.

Today we had a little gathering of my favorite girls. This is one amazing bunch of  women. People who work with brides must just be a special breed, because this industry is loaded with some incredible women. I have made so many friends through my work, it is simply hard to believe.  Here we all are in a big group shot, we had two cake bakers, 5 photographers, 5 wedding coordinator’s,one flower preservationist, and several girls who represent wedding venues or restaurants.  Its the first time I have brought all my wedding girlfriends together and it was so much fun.   I am so lucky to know all of these remarkable women.

Here are two super cute girls and they are awesome planners. Lisa Schulz, The Posh Planner, and Maria Cooke {Ritzy Bee }

I love this photo of Joylyn and Designer Debbie, these girls were clearly having a little fun.

Rocio Diaz A Piece of Cake was happy to have a little time with Grace.  Rocio brought us chocolate cake and we are talking seriously phenomenal cake.

This picture is of my good friend Cara Berger, Celebrations by Cara and her adorable Annie, with the truly incredible Betty Franzen of Waterford Past Thymes ( she hogged Grace the whole day and she has every right to )and Designer Debbie.

I love this picture of Carrie from the Lightfoot Restaurant.  She looks a little Irish to me.

I arrived at the National Conference Center tonight to visit with my friend Sharon Meyer she is the Director of Catering.

Waiting for me was a passport.  It looks like I am going on a little vacation.

This is me, Holly Heider Chapple of Holly Heider Chapple Flowers LTD.

Jennifer from Fandango whisked me away on a sailing trip.

Cast of  Thousands was providing entertainment for guests on the island.  I think this is one native who does not know how to swim.  My friends from Capital Party Rental  were happy to spend time with him though. Stacy on the left was one of my brides. Meaning I did her wedding flowers.

Much to my surprise I found The Posh Planner, Lisa Schulz. The heat was really getting to her so she was having a little ice cream.  Lisa never has to worry about fitting in to her skinny jeans.

We went in search of some music and found just the right sound when we found Kevin Oliver from Olivera Music and Entertainment.

Much to my surprise I ran in to yet another one of my brides. Lacy O’Donnell and hubby are still honeymooning after all of this time. Lacy owns Milestones a event planning company.

It was so nice to get away from the cold and hit the beach, the atmosphere was perfect. I am so glad we all got to take a trip, and just before the wedding season starts. Now everyone is rested up and ready for the March of brides. Here they come.

Yesterday I was sent a beautiful inspiration board. It truly got me inspired and what I want to see are boards that include my flowers. So I decided I would start a little game. Spread the word.  Here are the rules.

1. Send inspiration boards to my email address and I will put them up as a blog for all of us to view.

2. The board must include some of Holly Heider Chapple Flowers designs. You can get these from my website or my blog. This is a great way for me to see my designs, used in a new way.

3. You must make your entry by June 1st. The decision will be announced by June 15th.

4. You do not have to be one of my brides but you do have to be a real bride and willing to disclose your wedding venue so that I can verify your wedding.

5. The winning board will be decided by myself and my team of designers. I may also bring in a few ringers like wedding photographers and wedding coordinators. Readers can also vote for their favorite entry through email.

The Prize:  A $100.00 gift certificate for flowers from Holly Heider Chapple Flowers LTD. or a $100.00 gift certificate to my booth at On A Whim Antiques. You can choose from furniture to home decor at this location.
