First, a big huge shout out, and thanks to event planner Aimee Hardenbergh for managing this very magnificent event. Aimee owns and operates True Wedding Events. Some of DC's top wedding vendors gathered at Merriweather Manor this past weekend.  The venue was absolutely aglow with the beauty of the day. The fabulous Design Cuisine came to Leesburg to provide the catering. It was incredible to work with one of my favorite DC caterers here in Loudoun. Matt Mendelsohn was the photographer and I look forward to seeing the day through his eyes. All in all, the event was stacked with killer vendors.

Emily chose to marry in this meadow. The view was amazing. The venue boasts several ceremony options but because the weather was so perfect; Emily went for open air and open fields.

Emily carried a bouquet of wine toned callas, white callas, white roses, green cymbidium orchids, wine toned dahlias from Don, antique green hydrangea, and scabiosa flowers.

Maids carried bouquets of the dahlias, green hypericum berry, and wine callas.

We created this lovely kissing ball for each flower girl. We had two for this wedding.

We decorated 3 different mantels.

Elodie created garlands for all of the lanterns on the property.

This extraoridinary design was created for the  formal dinning room.

Designer Debbie created a floral garland for the bannister.

We potted 12 urns with ivy, cabbage and fresh flowers.

Two of the urns were designed very full with willow. These greeted the guests as they arrived at the manor.

We designed over 20 small pieces that were used for the cocktail hour, or for the sitting areas around the mansion.

Our dinner tables had as many as 25 designs on each table. We were in love with the look of this dining space. We had four king tables in the tent, so the room was absolutely stunning.

We provided these baskets for the place cards and we designed the flowers on the cake!

This wedding was amazing and I am so proud of our team. We had hundreds of designs to create for this wedding and all of them had to be in place in under two hours. What a great start to an amazing weekend.

Happy married life Emily, we loved doing your wedding flowers.

    Holly Chapple: You are A-MAZING!!
I’m sorry I’m just now commenting on your blog but we just recently returned from the honeymoon. All I can say is WOW. wow. From the moment I arrived at Merriweather Manor I was SPEECHLESS (that never happens). The entire place was transformed into the most incredibly romantic, picturesque, elegant setting I have ever seen in my life — you did that with the hundreds of arrangements you created, each one unique, each one more beautiful than the next, and all of them working together to create the most spectacular setting that my mom, Doug and I (and all of our guests) have ever seen. I wish we could’ve captured all of the compliments our guests made throughout the evening — everyone was so taken with your designs that people were literally stroking the centerpieces! I really hope someone got that on camera. We knew you were great when we saw all the pictures of your work and it was evident from the beginning that you have an incredible gift but holy cow — what you created for our wedding exceeded our wildest expectations! Everything was beyond perfect. I’m still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground. Thank you for everything! I will send pictures as soon as I get them!

Hello there, just want to drop a comment on this beautiful wedding particularly the flower arrangements, the bouquets, the center pieces and all. They’re just great and gorgeous, the long table is definitely my favorite. This is my first visit here and sure to keep coming back to check more of your post here.
