This is Jason and Rachael, and the photograph was taken by my good friend, Joylyn Hannahs. Joylyn will be handling the photography for the wedding.  This wedding is sure to be beautiful: just look at this couple, not to mention the wedding is being held at historic Whitehall Manor.  In addition we have Cara Berger as wedding cord. from Celebrations by Cara and of course my flowers. This is a complete match made in heaven. I am so excited to be working will all of these awesome vendors on a wedding that is so important to me.   One of the greatest things about my business in additon to the creative outlet, are the friendships I have made. Cara Berger was one of my past brides five years ago. Today she is one of my closest friends. Joylyn is just a treasure and although we both grew up in Loudoun County our paths did not cross until we began working together on events. Both of these girls are awesome talents not to mention incredible moms.

Now about the wedding my last entry showed how I will handle the low centerpieces. We have decided to do a mix of high and low which is always my favorite look when I have more than 10 tables. In this case we will have 9 high or elevated desigsn and 9 low. The elevated centerpieces will be raised on brown iron stands. These stands are perfect at Whitehall as the estate features brown iron chandeliers and wall sconces. Not to mention her accent color is brown.  On each stand we will hang votives and elevate a arrangement of all red roses, red carnations and brown birch branches.  I cant wait to see this all come together. Chocolate brown is of course very popular and is used with many different color combinations. Having props with chocolate tones such as vases or the iron stands is a must when doing a brown event. For other brown accents the designer must turn to chocolate brown ribbon, natural elements such as the brown twigs, or be creative with paint. I offten paint pods, berries and twigs to make them more chocolate brown. When chocolate brown became popular it was a real test of my creative abilities. I was forced to come up with several mediums to introduce the brown in to the event.
