My next wedding took place at the Historic Thomas Birkby house.  Some of you may remember my bride Ayana.

When I got the call from Ayana requesting flowers for her wedding my heart sank. I already had several weddings on the books for her Saturday. I wanted to claim her as my bride; I could tell just from talking to her that I would love her. Booking her was a big decision because we never take on more than we can handle perfectly; when we have multiple weddings in a weekend, they usually fall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, not all on Saturday. But from the moment I heard her voice, I was in love. She just radiates complete joy right through the phone. It was two months before her wedding, and I feared no one would love her like I would, so I said yes.  I am so glad I joined the team that created this amazing wedding.  Ayana and Wade met at UVA and planned a blue and orange themed wedding. Honestly, the look was amazing. She was absolutely gorgeous and, again, the smile just draws you in.  Here’s to a happy life Ayana and Wade.

Now that you are married, you can come work here. Ayana offered to help me with flowers, but I told her she could not start until after the wedding.  Ayana are you free this weekend?
