Doreen and Kirk married just a few weeks ago at Chrysalis Vineyard near Middleburg Virginia. Their day was completely stunning, everything about this wedding was appealing. This event is the complete package a great couple, a awesome venue, a incredible photographer Kristen Gardner, and of course really lovely flowers.
Doreen carried a Holly Chapple Flowers bouquet of orange Tulips, orange Ranunculus, orange Star of Bethlehem, orange Roses, orange Freesia, orange Orchids and orange Celosia. The bouquet was bound with a green iridescent ribbon and orange pins.
The Groom’s boutonniere was created of orange Freesia and orange Orchids
The maids carried hand tied bouquets of all green flowers, we used spider Mums, green Roses, green Euphorbia, green Hydrangea, and green Button Mums.
Only a vineyard wedding has this look and feel. Chrysalis Vineyard is in Loudoun County, and Loudoun is in DC’s Wine Country. We have some of the finest vineyards and wedding locations. If you want a vineyard wedding, you must come check out Loudoun.
To enhance the ceremony site we created a simple garland of Italian Ruscus, Lemon Leaves, Plumosa Grass, and Baby’s Breath for the arbor. Orange rose petals were sprinkled across the ground at the arbor. When the venue looks this natural and elegant, you can save on flowers.
The centerpieces were Ivy Topiary or Lavender Plants. By using living plants we were able to keep on budget without compromising the overall look and feel of the wedding. To add some wow to the tent we had several very sexy buffet pieces. Each buffet piece represented a different type of cuisine. Guests dined on American, Japanese and Mediterranean dishes.
I hope you are smiling as much as I am. I just love looking at these images. Kristen did a incredible job. She really captured the whole look and feel of the event.
What a perfectly gorgeous couple, and what a perfect wedding.
Happy married life, Doreen and Kirk. Best wishes and lots of love,
Holly
