Just before the snow, I started my post about the wedding of Kelly and Ethan. It seems I got a little sidetracked. Here are some of my favorites from this amazing wedding.
The ceremony took place inside the Colonnade room at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in DC. We used the centerpieces to decorate the altar. This was a fabulous way to repurpose the flowers.
Each table had either one tall calla centerpiece or a grouping of the red designs. The red centerpieces were a composite of red roses, red carnations and red dahlias. They were so dramatic.
Silver was an accent color in this wedding so we banded the bottom of each calla stem with silver wire and then used a larger silver wire twirled through the vase.
One of my favorites parts of this wedding was the releasing of white doves. Guests gathered in the garden outside of the reception area.
If you would like to see close ups of these bouquets or other photographs from these wedding scroll back several posts to find more on Kelly and Ethan.
Collins Metu did an amazing job capturing this wedding. Collins is a photographer from Houston TX.
