I wanted to open with a picture of my new real life friends, not just Twitter friends.  On my left is Alicia from Bellafiori Events and on my right is Nicole from Swank stems.
My mind is buzzing my heart is spinning, what an inspiring week. When I was a young woman standing in my house with babies all around me, I would have never dreamed I could create the business I have created. What I confirmed on my first business trip is, what I built rocks. The next realization was, it needs to change and grow. I can have so much more, give so much more, with good sound business guidance and structure. I have a hundred new ideas, plans, and practices I want to implement.  Thank you Wedding 360, and mostly thank you, Jean and Jubilee. I will need some more really talented people on board to help me with the journey, so if you are interested or know someone who may be, call us up. I will be looking for graphic artists to help me with the blog.  I need some superstar Mac users who can help me create spread sheets and catergorize 17 years worth of images. I also very much want someone to help us with finacial decisions as we develop some of our new ideas, and practices.

All attendees at Wedding360 were treated to so much eye candy and information that I am sure all of us will have reeling head for weeks. In order to share some of what we saw, I am posting the longest blog post of my life. First up,  designer Gloria Wong. Gloria treated us to, two separate design concepts.  She is a talent that is so humble you just want to shake her and make her scream " I am Gloria and I am amazing", but she is way to quiet for that. However she is one little hopping power house.

I arrived one day early so I was able to see Gloria in  motion. Her first gift to us was the Emerald Underworld Cocktail Party. This event was the kick off party for the whole conference. Jubilee and Jean the founders of Wedding 360, had to be thrilled with her efforts. Here are some pictures of the set up process the day before the opening of the conference.

She created these amazing fabric walls and hung them in the tent. She had the same pattern repeated on her accent pillows. All elements were custom made for this event.

It is always so exhilarating to see an event come to life. On Sunday night the room was completely transformed. The first party was so much fun and it was our first opportunity to get to know each other the environment was electric.

Here I am with my girlfriend and fellow designer Nicole Iverson of Swank Stems. I loved spending time with Nicole and I am certain I have made a life long friend.

Monday we woke to a full day of classes but the day ended with another Gloria experience. This party was in honor of Grace Ormonde and was named the Museum Of Petals Dinner. Gloria was inspired by the St. Regis hotel decor, thanks to the St. Regis for hosting us. Gloria decided to incorporate many of the elements in the room and actually add the hotel decor into her concept.. The hotel had pink flowers in the carpet, and many of the wall hangings repeated the pattern, so it all became part of Gloria's inspiration. The chandeliers in the room looked like they were special ordered for the event and yet they were the regular lighting.

These draping's were created to match the decor throughout the night. This area was the cocktail space and where we met until the ball room doors were opened to guests.

Huge flower arrangements of orchids and roses in a a bed of hydrangea were designed in urns that were actually made of  Ice. The designs sat on a bar of all ice. Flowering branches were frozen into the bar.

When the doors were opened we were greeted by the largest arrangement I have ever seen. A giant rose petal tree. 120,00 rose petals went into this room.

See why my head is spinning, this was designer girls heaven.
