Several years ago I had the pleasure of designing these awesome peony bouquets for my bride Molly. Molly wanted the bright green hypericum berry to break up the peonies and in spite of the fullness of the peony she wanted the bouquets to appear a little loose. This was no easy task with flowers as enormous as peonies.

 

The bouquets designed for this wedding were some of my all time favorite peony bouquets.  We used ranunculus, spray roses, and white peonies for the maids and the bride got full sized roses, berry, ranunculus, and pale pink shades of peonies.

 

Seeing the peonies developing in my garden made me think of this wedding. Have faith it is almost peony season. Yeah!!!!
