Yesterday afternoon I ran away!! I ran to Morgans house to see her fields of bluebells. I have been working so hard this week that I have spent absolutely no time outside or with my kids. Last night I remembered that Morgan has a field full of bluebells and I was dying to see them, and I was dying to get the kids out of the house. Morgan is a really good friend of mine, a fellow floral designer, and I also buy most of my plant material from her garden center. Petals and Hedges is the name of her business. She has been with me to NYC twice, and we have designed together on many occasions, but whenever we are together we are working. I have never taken the time to run on over to Morgan’s house and last night I took the time. Her house is maybe 10 minutes away from mine, how sad that I have never been before. Morgan has two sweet little girls Berry and Violet and the little Chapples loved playing with their new friends.

Morgans property rests against the Catoctin Creek. All through the creek and into the woods as far as you can see are Virginia bluebells. They also have a huge Tiki hut for the kids to play in or for waterside parties. AWESOMENESS!!

We found and brought home tadpoles for our goldfish pond. I love having little frogs in our pond.

Morgan, even has baby bunnies and all of the Chapple’s had fun with them. It was wonderful to spend time outside at Morgans place.
