Yesterday I received two requests from designers who wanted a bit of mentoring. Since I have Tuesday, August, 27th reserved for our Meet Me In The Garden Class, I decided to clear the entire day for an intensive Business and Flowers Workshop. This will allow designers another chance to become a part of the Chapel Designers clan that I started several years ago. Designers holding a current business license and a working website may take this 1 day series and become a Chapel Designer. Once a Chapel Designer you will be added to our closed forum where we assist each other daily with inspiration or business questions. Chapel Designers also receive discounts when purchasing at certain stores.

The class will begin at 9:30am. We will spend the better part of the morning discussing, contracts, sourcing, marketing and such. Lunch and snacks will be provided throughout the day. As we move into the afternoon we will focus on design.  I will share how I create my super Full Bouquets and how we handle big designs, personal flowers and such. I will keep the class fairly small and I will address your specific pressing business and design concerns. If you register please send me a list of the topics you would like me to make sure I cover that day. The registration fee for this class will also allow students to attend the the 6pm class that begins at Don’s dahlias. After the tour, we will return from Don’s and design in my studio with his dahlias and other fresh cut products from my garden.
