It’s been a very full day for us here at the Chapel Designers Conference in NYC. We have been in supersonic conference mode and have heard from many excellent speakers who are experts in their field. I’m so excited to show you what we’ve been up to today because I have been completely starstruck from all these incredible people.

Helen Mills did a fabulous job hosting our huge group and we are so thankful for them partnering with us to make it all happen!

The ladies at Events in the City did a lovely job putting together little snack packs for us!

We had many of our seasoned Chapel Designers speak including Amanda Frankenwicz from Alluring Blooms, Daevid Reed from Daevid’s of Norfolk, Francoise Weeks, Lesley Frascogna from TULIP, Jennifer and Dave Ederer with Modern Day Floral, and Laura Larocci from Faith Flowers. We were especially lucky for Rachel Merkle from Miss Merkle Design to speak to us about branding and social media.

Every speaker had great takeaways and we covered everything from personal triumphs to our greatest struggles. It was a great inspiration to hear such practical advice.

Anne Chertoff gave us great insight about all things social media during her “social studies” class. The designers were challenged to take action and move their businesses forward by using it wisely and efficiently.

We all loved hearing from Naomi de Manana of Martha Stewart Weddings – she was such a hit and had us rolling in laughter!

Abby Larson from Style Me Pretty gave us the inside scoop into the blogging world. As a mother, Abby’s point of view echoed in the hearts of many of the Chapel Designers who are in similar stages in life.
