First and most importantly it’s time to wish Kristen and Keith, happy anniversary. This lovely couple married last summer on July 9th at Holy Rosary Church with a reception at the Clarendon Ballroom. Somehow an entire year has passed since their wedding. Time is most certainly flying.
Kristen’s bridal bouquet was created with dahlias from Don’s garden, zinnia’s from my yard and then a mix of ranunculus, billy balls, dark purple scabiosa, purple stock, green hydrangea, and sea star fern. The bouquet was created in a tight clean fashion and the focus was on the color. The fern and a few organic accents gave the design some whimsy. When I look back to this bouquet I am reminded how much I love the color of summer and I am shocked to see ranunculus. I must have pulled off a miracle on that one, getting ranunculus in July is truly a miracle. Ranunculus has been gone from the market for 3 weeks this year, certainly a result of the intense heat.
Our groom wore a fun bout of yellow billy balls, orange spray roses, with pops of purple.
Before I get any deeper into this post I better share that the amazing Katie Stoops was the photographer for this wedding, event design and planning was done by Ritzy Bee Events, and the paper goods were designed by Simplesong Design, the brides dress came from Hitched, and the cake was from Kendall’s cakes.
I love seeing how each bouquet performed differently when paired with a different color dress. I notice things like this, big time.
Here is a great photo of the paper products by Simplesong Design.
After the wedding, the fun began at the Clarendon Ballroom, where a fun theme had been designed by the girls from Ritzy Bee Events. I love the tables and the record accents.
