A week ago this morning I was sitting in the Bahamas enjoying our last moments on the beach, before Evan and I had to head back to Virginia and our busy life. In the last week we have met with numerous new 2012 brides, arranged flowers for several parties, helped our sweet baby Grace turn three, tiled and cleaned the flower shop, and written many contracts for the upcoming year. Today I am up bright and early and headed to a bouquet photo shoot. I spent the better part of super bowl Sunday whooping up some lovely designs. If all goes well my pretty petals will be published in an upcoming feature on bridal bouquets. I took the time to make a few additional designs with the leftovers. The above design was created with white lilac, orange tulips, mimosa, and a blend of narcissus also know as daffodils. This design absolutely screams spring and I am so glad I made something fun for our house.
These leftover pink sweet peas, pink ranunculus, and pink astilbe were used simply to please me and to add one more pretty pink bouquet to my always growing portfolio.
Just for fun I have also added some pictures of Graces birthday, we went to Chucky Cheese and then had a pizza party at the house with Grandma and Grandpa. We also skyped with the college siblings. I can’t believe Grace is 3. Life is racing by!!!
Happy Monday!!!
Happy Birthday Grace! Chucky Cheese still rules.
Holly, I LOVE that pink bouquet!! I can’t believe those are just leftovers!
And Happy Happy Birthday to Miss Grace!!
