This past weekend we provided red and gold wedding flowers to our bride Monica. Her wedding was a perfect Christmas wedding. We used red peony, red cabbage roses, red tulips, red spray roses, red anemone, and red ranunculus and the designs also had gold painted berries and pods.
Monica’s bouquet featured all of the above listed red flowers but the red peony and red anemone were truly amazing. The bouquet also featured gold painted magnolia leaves.
Large white and gold arrangements were created for the altar. The couple married next to a huge Christmas tree that was designed with all gold ornaments.
The couple used red and white striped paper for their save the dates. Because of this, we thought it would be fun to use this pattern during the cocktail hour. Monica used red and white stripes on the place cards and I used red and white patterned fabric to cover the vases for the cocktail designs and also in the large place card design. A family member made the couple this really cute red and white striped mailbox for their gift cards.
The centerpieces were a magnificent showing of all red flowers. We also added red pepperberry into these designs and gold painted hydrangea. Having red peonies in December was wonderful. I also love, love, loveĀ red “wanted” cabbage roses.
We even decorated a table for the cupcakes.
The bridesmaids bouquets were created of gold painted rose hips, red cabbage roses, red ranunculus and red spray roses.
The brides gown and the maids gowns were purchased from Hitched Bridal Salon in Georgetown. This bride loved being a Hitched bride. Working with Monica was wonderful and I can’t wait to see the real images from this very special Christmas wedding. Monica we LOVED designing your wedding flowers.
Oh my gosh this wedding looks amazing! I LOVE the red and white stripes and the red and gold flowers!!!
Those gold rose hips are fabulous in the bouquets!
