Last May I provided the flowers for kristin & Jeff’s wedding at the Thomas Birkby House. At the time I blogged my images but I have never gotten to share with you the extraordinary photographs that were captured that day by photographer Michelle Lindsay. This wedding is so special to me, I fell in love with Kristin and her wedding. This was also one of the first weddings that I officially took on responsibilities as a stylist. I am still in contact with Kristin and she continues to be a wonderful friend and a fabulous wedding industry partner. Just a few short months after her wedding she opened LilyPad Weddings which is a personalized paper company that she started with her sister.
Her amazing bridal bouquet was created with orange everything… pin cushions, freesia, tulips, roses, spray roses, callas, and crocosmia. My favorite detail about the bouquet were two little matching brooches that happened to be from two different grandmothers and yet they were a perfect match.
Could they be any more perfect?
My lovely bouquets!!
All paper products were designed by Kristin and her sister Jen at LilyPad Weddings.

The wedding had a fabulous travel theme, the couple loves to travel and many of their guests came from abroad, readings at the ceremony were done in several different languages. I gathered vintage props at local antique stores and laid out these perfectly styled spaces.
Maids wore teal blue dresses. Leaving us to know for certain that the teal blue vintage mason jars could not be denied.
I used three mason jars tied together with twine to create a centerpiece that was substantial. One mason jar simply won’t cut it when you want a full arrangement. I loved the way this turned out…
Maps and vintage suitcases were used to style the buffet and head table.
This was an incredible Loudoun Wedding and one that I am very proud of. Thank you Michelle for sharing your photographs with us. The images from this wedding are simply stunning.
