One of the many things I hope to do on this new blog is feature other floral designers. I have dubbed all floral designers that cater to the wedding industry, “Chapel Designers” and I hope to continue to gather a clan of floral friends across this country and even Europe. Liz and I met via social media, thanks to the internet gods for Twitter, Face book, Blogs, and every other possible way I can find my soul sisters and brothers. I adore Liz’s spirit, passion, and enthusiasm for floral design. She is also the sweetest little mom raising two precious kids while designing flowers in Portland Oregon. Yep I have a girl friend in Portland Oregon. Liz is the owner of Fleur:ology.
Liz designed and styled this fabulous inspirational shoot for the Inspired Creations Contest, which was sponsored by the EAD Blog and the Sweetest Occasions blog. I was so proud of the work Liz did, believe it or not this was her first time styling a shoot!!!!
Liz painted old bottles and bud vases with two coats of bronze paint and I loved the look!! She also used a flower I have never designed with before called andromeda. I literally just placed an order with my wholesaler in hopes that I will get to play with this fabulous cascading pink bloom. Other flowers used on the shoot include plum toned ranunculus, lavender roses, hot pink roses and ranunculus, rice flower, white ranunculus and stock. Stunning!!!!!
Liz also used pipe and drape to create a fabulous backdrop for the cake table. Crystal garlands and ribbon were used to soften the space. Congratulations Liz you did an amazing job on your first ever photo shoot, and thanks for being the first Chapel Designer ever on the The Full Bouquet Blog. I love you and I love your work!!!
Many thanks to the vendors who helped Liz to make this shoot a success.
