If you read yesterdays post you know that I mentioned something about "when God shuts a door he opens a window." Well look who flew through my window. Casey has been longing to get into the wedding business and somehow yesterday in the middle of a consult for her upcoming wedding I just simply added Casey to the team… I fell completely in love with this girl and her whole family, so why not. She is an amazing artist, she is a MAC girl, she is wedding obsessed, and she has also been working in the wedding industry remotely for years. One thing I know for certain is this, an artist, that is wedding obsessed, and engaged to be married, is a perfect match for this place!!

 

In addition to all of the other things we have in common we are both from big families. Look at these girls, I mean honestly, I am from a family of five girls and I have seven kids. How could I not fall in love with this. Did you know I have two sets of twin sisters?

When Casey told me she had been reading the posts about Elodie our French designer, and how she had secretly wished she could be the person to fill her shoes I was hooked. I am really excited to see what is around the bend for all of us, so here's Casey.

Hey guys, I'm the newest addition to the Chapple Flowers Family!!! I'm 24, am a Loudoun County native and am newly engaged myself! I am so excited to be joining Holly and her amazing team on all of our new flower adventures!! Check out Hollys blog for my monthly wedding posts!!! Here’s a little bit about me… I am passionate, fun, artistic, and yes the Irish in me makes me just a little bit stubborn (although if you asked my fiancé he would say it makes me a lot a bit stubborn!!) I am one of six girls! So that meant that in my family you went by numbers!! So that makes me girl#4. The oldest is Jenny, then Sarah, Kelly, Me, Emma, and then the baby, Kathleen. And if you’re feeling bad for my dad… stop it now!! He always prayed to be surrounded by women; he just forgot God has a sense of humor! I just got engaged on August 7th to the love of my life… I know barf barf, so romantic. Although I should warn you that if your reading this blog then you must know in advance, I LOVE all things wedding, love, and flowers!! I feel so blessed to have landed on Holly’s doorstep for a forgotten meeting that ended in a divine appointment! So this is me, Casey, the new sexy girl at Holly Chapple Flowers!! I am elated to say that I am going to be blogging monthly about all my wedding planning, so please keep an eye on me! BIG, exciting things are in the works and I want to share every moment with you!
