Just before I left on vacation I created this wonderful bouquet for one of my upcoming brides. My bride told me that her daddy actually liked for each of his daughters to have a practice bouquet. He purchases the bouquet in advance so that his daughters may enjoy the bouquet before the wedding. This also ensures that his girls are happy with their choice and gives them an opportunity to see the flowers with the dress. I have to admit the more I thought about this concept the more impressed I was with this very thoughtful father. Quite frankly, I love my bouquets so much I am more than willing to create them twice.
When I look at both of these photographs it is hard for me to believe that this is actually the same bridal bouquet. Seeing the flowers in person and in different types of light can be very helpful. Most ivory or white roses have a very creamy yellow or peachy center, this could be a big surprise on your wedding day if you were not expecting it. I actually make a point to tell my brides this every time we work with cream or white roses, this bride will get to see it first hand. Thanks dad this is an awesome idea.
As far as vacation goes I am enjoying a fabulous time with my wonderful, beautiful kids. I am totally thrilled to be with them all. I am lucky, lucky, lucky, my kids are the result of an incredible marriage. Yay and thank you Evan!!!!!!
