I have never been so confused about where to start, when it comes to blogging. I have so much to share that I do not know how to begin or how to break it down. You will be reading about this event and my trip to San Francisco for days. I of course am dying to show you the flowers and the designs, but I thought it would be more appropriate to start with the many people who made this conference so wonderful. This pictures is of Jean Marks, David Beahm and Jubilee Lau.  Jean and Jubilee teamed together to create this conference called Wedding 360. David was one of their many guest speakers.

The line up of speakers was phenomenal, and the knowledge and information shared has been over the top. The first speaker yesterday was Rebecca Grinnals of Engaging Concepts. Rebecca is absolutely delightful and so incredibly informative. She got her start in the wedding industry working for Disney. She helped to create the Disney wedding experience, leading Disney to the top of the charts, as the number one place to marry. The high point of the day for me was when Rebecca singled out several websites that were functioning properly or were visibly appealing. My website happened to be one of the ones she mentioned and of course that caused me to get a little teary eyed. She liked the fact that I showed my family on my website, so there I was bigger than life on the screen with my whole big huge family.

The next speaker of the day was Sean Low. Sean councils wedding vendors about "The Business of Being Creative".  I shared yesterday during the conference that Sean scares me, and it is the truth. As a designer I focus so much on the pretty or the sexy, that I often forget to look at the really important side of this, the business side of this. After all, this is my business and if I want to continue growing and keep my doors open, I better take a really good look at profit and loss.

Event planner Tara Guerard  signed her new book for attendees and she was one of the speakers today. I was very happy to meet her, I just love her designs.

I have totally fallen in love with David Beahm, his presentation was beyond incredible. If you look closely you can see one of the tent set ups he created for a past client. Guess what, even though he is a big time NYC designer he comes from Luray VA. He is a country boy, and absolutely the sweetest person I may have ever met.  I felt a very real connection to this gentlemen and I am thrilled that I met him. Honestly I could have just gone home after his presentation and been totally pleased with all that I have learned. However Wedding 360 had lots more in store for us yesterday and today. I am in OMG I am freaking out overload.

The next presenter got dubbed the Mac Daddy, Todd fiscus of Todd Events. I got to spend a lovely time with him and David the night before at the opening party. Is it possible to love both of these men this much? I adored each one of them, for their creativity and for their warm but fun personalities. Todd has created one of the largest event design companies and his business plan is over the top. I am so impressed with him, but mostly I just really like him.

As if yesterday could not have gotten any better I also got to meet the famous Grace Ormonde.  She said to us "I am just Grace" but really, come on, she is a legend in the wedding industry. I am one of Grace's platinum wedding vendors in the Washington DC area.  I love this picture because by my sides are my two new girl friends who I have been dying to spend time with. On my left is Nicole Iverson from Swank Stems and on my right side is Alicia from Bella Fiori events. They are my Twitter flower, girl friends and one of the many reasons why I wanted to come to wedding 360. I was dying to meet these girls and it was wonderful to be with them, because of Twitter I can actually find and make friends across the country. Last night was truly amazing and the party in honor of Grace was  incredible. The event was designed by Gloria Wong.  I promise to post all of the stunning event designs very soon.

Wedding 360 is amazing.
