Last weekend was the wedding of Steffanie and Joel. This couple happens to be very computer savvy and they ended up becoming my Apple bride and groom. Steffanie also guest blogged for me and the information she shared was wonderful.
The clever details began with their cake topper, which I believe they had created with a crafter on ETSY. The wedding took place At The Inn At Vint Hill, The inn is located in Warrenton and is just 45 minutes from DC.
The inn at one time was an officers club, as well as a private residence. This is a really neat venue that I had never been to before. I loved everyone on site and I could tell that this was going to be a really great event.
With the wonderful and guiding hand of event planner Katie Peeler from Spring Street Weddings, this wedding was just a pleasure. Katie was present at all consults and was an absolute jewel to work with.
One of my favorite designs of the day was Joel's boutonniere. The flowers were placed on a computer chip that joel requested be used for his boutonniere. This was so perfect for this groom and this wedding.
The couple has a wonderful navy blue pattern that they repeated through the invitations, programs and seating.
Here is a picture of the bridal bouquet in the box. It was created of white and blue hydrangea, white roses, white freesia, blue muscari, white phlox and white stock, white tulips and white ranunculus.
We used the centerpieces to create the altar. Each centerpiece was loaded in hydrangea, roses, stock and delphinium.
I look forward to bringing you the images from this wedding, the photographer was Maria Vicencio and her work is always remarkable.
