Our baby lion Grace.
Hope you have a great Halloween. We actually do not have any spooky weddings, so we get the weekend off. Check out our last blog post for our very fun Halloween designs. Now for some mommy time.
Here is a cute shot from two years ago. Abby will die when she sees this.
Love this picture also. The boys have really grown.
Holly,
It is wonderful to see thoroughly stunning designs in combination with a joyous and zestful attitude! I have the utmost respect for your ability to raise 7 children and successfully operate a business. As a small flowershop owner and mother of a 10-month old your gift truly amazes me. My son comes to work with me every day and it is the most precious challenge I have ever been presented with…I have been imspired by your blog and hope to bring some of it’s essence to my own burgeoning one!

Rebecca,
Thank you so much for your comments. Some days I wonder if the time I put into the blog, is worth all of the effort. Getting comments like yours always brightens my day. Being able to have our children with us when we work is a huge blessing. I know it has many challenges, but I believe it is worth it. Some days can truly be horrendous but it is better than working for someone else and never seeing your kids. I do have help with the kids this time around ( we have four older kids and now 3 new babies) and that is making a big difference. I did the first four by myself but the business was a lot smaller. When we started having kids again I got help when the baby started to walk at about 11 months we have had two more kids since then. We are all together every day and that is awesome. I hope you will join me one Friday night for my “in The Cooler” post. I have started showing other florists work on Friday nights. Good Luck and keep in touch.
