This bridal bouquet was created for my bride Dana. Dana married this past Sunday at Lansdowne Resort.  The wedding was spontaneously pulled together just two months ago in order to make certain the Grandmother would be able to attend. Due to the time restraints we literally met for the first time the day of the wedding. We did all of the consultations via phone and the internet. The results were amazing and the whole family was just thrilled.

I love this picture because it shows the little green Orchids and white Rose Buds that we inserted into the brides hair.

This bouquet was created of white Roses, orange Spray Roses, pink Nerine Lily, green Dendrobium Orchids and small raspberry Spray Roses.  I used the Orchids to give the bouquet a slight cascade.

The ceremony took place on the back terrace of Lansdowne. The view is spectacular and these huge altar arrangements completed the look.

These pieces were so large that my husband came to help. Thanks to Evan, everything always gets where it needs to be.

We marked family reserved seating with clusters of flowers and ribbon.

I thought this picture was fun. The gentlemen seem very concerned about where they will be seated.

The reception was in the clubhouse ballroom. We did a combination of high and low centerpieces. we used white Lily, green Hydrangea, pink Roses, orange Roses, orange Orchids, and hot pink Stock to create both of these designs.

Everything was so wonderful and I am so glad I got to be a part of this wedding.

I have one more wedding from the weekend to post, I will be back very soon.

I love that bridal bouquet. So lovely, I wonder how much you spent for the flower arrangement. Anyway, thanks for sharing I enjoyed watching the pictures.

So i was going for a more modern look to my card (well, because my kids asked me not to make it all “frilly and stuff”). Since they will be the ones giving this card to DH’s mom, I figured I would go with what they would like to give her. 🙂 The rose (from the Roses in Bloom set) is embossed onto Vellum c.s. using Detail Black embossing powder and layered for some extra dimension. The sentiment (also from the Roses in Bloom set) is also embossed…I think it really helps it stand out a little bit more. I then added some,e stitching, and a few embellishments and my card was finished! 🙂

OH…on the DT cards, there are little Asian Motif Flowers hidden (some have more than one) in our cards…so be on the lookout ofcourse.
