Hey everyone! This is Alex, Holly’s eldest son. My mom is too busy to blog right now, so I’m doing it on her behalf. It has been a long day. It is almost 10 o’clock and my mom, the whole family, and five employees are still working. Earlier today my mom had nine employees here. We’re almost ready for our big Saturday.
This first picture is of my mom with Amy’s colorful bridal bouquet.
Here’s a picture of the walk-in cooler. When I first walked into the cooler today, I was almost knocked over by the rich perfume of roses. We could bottle and sell the air in here. The cooler is packed to the hilt, but there are even more arrangements and bouquets in the shop.
Here is the boutonniere and corsage crew. Robbie East (front left) is from Fields of Flowers. Jeanna (left back) and Holly (right back) are going to be starting their own flower business soon, so my mom let them work today to see how the floral machine works. And Jessie’s back is turned towards us, but I have another picture of her.
Here she is, creating a beautiful hydrangea center piece.
My mom insisted that I post this picture on her blog. This full bridal bouquet is sure to catch the eye; the hot pink roses contrast against the curling orange orchids.
That’s it for now. Tomorrow or Sunday my mom will put up new pictures of this weekends flowers, pictures taken on-site.
