Wow !!!! What a weekend, we started off the holiday weekend with a wedding at Rivercreek Country Club.  Jenn was married this Saturday and her wedding was just lovely.

White Peonies, white mini callas, mini green Hydrangea, white Stock,  and white Freesia bound with satin ribbon.

Bright happy bouquets of purple Statice, Orange Spray Roses, purple Phlox, deep pink Peonies, pink Orchids, purple rain Freesia, green Jade Roses and Lizzy buds bound with matching ribbon.

The altar pieces matched the maids bouquets with all of the bright colors of  the day. We used stock, phlox, peonies, orange lily, purple larkspur, green Spider Mums,  and fillers to create these altar pieces.

I loved this part of the wedding, every table was named after something special in their relationship this card was on the sweetheart table and it was my favorite of the day.

Each place setting featured one of my beautiful floral designs and a photograph of the happy couple. The table also had a small card that told about the particular location or event and why it was so important to them as a couple.
I loved working with this bride and her mom they were so sweet.   When we arrived with the flowers, Jenn and her maids were putting out the finishing touches.   There was  such a happy peaceful calm about this wedding. This was clearly a celebration of love.

Amy was my first bride for Sunday.  To save on labor and delivery her family picked up the flowers and made their own centerpieces.  I handled bouquets and personal flowers for the families. As I mentioned in a earlier post my brides were all picking the same flowers this weekend so her bouquet is very similar to Jenn’s but she did not have stock and we added more green hydrangea in here bouquet. Her maids had all bouquets of green.

Maggie married on Sunday as well, her wedding was at Tarara Vineyard. I love working at Tarara it is just so peaceful.  The wedding took place in front of the lake, on what is known as engagement point.  All of the designs had very natural elements like pheasant feathers, herbs, grapevine and blush tones.

I love these bouquets, if  you look closely you can actually see premature grapes still on the vine that I cut from my garden.  Notice the bridal bouquet has a accent of pheasant feathers which allowed us to bring in some brown tones to her bouquet.

Her centerpieces were created in tin urns  that mother of the bride purchased. We cut Wheat Grass and filled each pot. Then we inserted feathers, Grapevine, Fiddle head ferns and fresh cut flowers.

Our final wedding of the weekend was absolutely hot. Dana chose a awesome look and we loved this unique color combination of deep red, and hot pink. For the reception we added purple, but first we did start with yet another white bridal bouquet. This bouquet had bright green Cymbidium Orchids to offset the white tones. Notice we also used some bling.

Here are the maids dresses that inspired our whole color combination. Deep red dresses with hot pink sashes. I just loved this.!!!!!

The maids bouquets were created of red Roses, medium pink Roses, pink Tulips, pink Peonies, hot pink stock and baby red spray Roses.

The centerpieces were just over the top and my pictures simply do not do them justice.  The whole reception was absolutely glowing.

This is a perfect shot of the beautiful ballroom at Whitehall Manor in Bluemont. I am a huge fan of Whitehall. I just love doing events at this location.

Look at the mother of the bride and her sister. I think these may be the best dresses ever they are perfect for our look.

Not to mention a perfect wedding cake by Rocio Diaz from a Piece of Cake.

This was truly a beautiful event. In fact I may have gotten my best praise ever. Upon seeing the flowers my bride said ” if I weren’t getting married today, I would want to marry you.” I think she loved her flowers and so did I.
