Guess who I got to spend some time with yesterday. Margaret Morton of  Leesburg Today invited me to downtown Leesburg to do a little interview. She wanted to gather some experts to talk about  the Leesburg Flower and Garden Show.  Lucky me, I got to spend time with the Mayor of Leesburg, Kristin Umstattd, and Marantha Edwards, the town’s Business and Development Manager.
I know they are the true experts, so it is so nice for this mother of  seven and long time vendor at the garden show to be asked to participate with the big wigs.  The fact is, I am an expert when it comes to the Flower and Garden Show. In fact I have seen “Fire and Rain” at this show. I have stood through torrential downpours, fried in the unexpected heat of early spring and nearly fallen over from exhaustion. I will keep coming back though, I am a original vendor and the opportunities are worth the work . For example I got to hang out with the Mayor and have Margaret do a little story.
What a Hoot here is Mommy Holly with the Mayor and Marantha Edwards and yes baby Grace came along.  Life is so funny Marantha Edwards was my boss a 100 years ago when we both worked for Presidential Airways,   I really enjoyed my time with the Mayor what a awesome lady.
