While meeting with a bride today I found myself saying for the hundredth time, ” well, white roses really are not white.” In truth when it comes to white and roses, I use the term very loosely. White roses are always cream. They simply do not come in stark white. Do not fear though, it is not necessary to have a completely perfect match of rose to fabric. The blending in of several shades of truly white flowers like freesia, stock,or phlox can pull your roses towards white. I promise it will not cause you anguish on your wedding day. Just don’t get concerned when I say ivory roses and you want white. Its all in the terminology .
