The Santa Barbara Florabundance Inspiration Design Days/ Chapel Designers event is sure to be a huge hit. All week I have been sharing with you the bio’s of the amazing designers that will be teaching at the event. Today is designer Nancy Liu Chin’s turn. Nancy is one of my favorite designers and I adore reading her blog Nancy’s Brown Bag. Nancy will be leading a discussion on event design and she will be teaching some of her most favorite designs.

Nancy Liu Chin Designs(NLCD) started out as just a dream in Nancy’s SOMA loft.
After a few weddings, Nancy Liu Chin moved her humble operations to a small garage, never once thinking it would ever grow to be what it is today.
Since 2003, NLCD’s office and studio warehouse has been located in the Potrero Hill DogPatch neighborhood. A place of creativity and growth.
After 600+ weddings and soirees, NLC Designs has become one of the most sought after designers in the Bay Area.
NLCD’s wedding work has been featured in numerous magazines from Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Town & Country, 7 x7, The Knot, Elegant Bride as well as Style Me Pretty, Snippet & Ink, Junebugs, Grey Likes, 100 Layer Cake and many more.
NLCD’s corporate clients have included Apple, Google, Trader Joe’s, University of Pennsylvania, Riverbed, San Francisco Design Center to name a few.

A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, Nancy previously worked for Macy’s, Gap’s Banana Republic, and bebe Stores in merchandising and planning.  Her real loves are nurturing her two Bichon’s Chin Chin and Rocco, traveling the world with her photographer husband, Kevin and being an aunt to her five nieces and nephews.  Nancy is passionate about fashion merchandising, cooking, and making people laugh!

Meet me in Santa Barbara!!!
