The wedding season has officially begun for us and we are off to a great start. This was the bridal bouquet that we designed on Saturday. This bouquet was incredibly special to me for so many reasons. I have always wanted to design with pink or deep plum colored Pieris and I have never had the opportunity before. Miraculously enough, designer Sue Prutting of White Magnolia Designs showed up at my house on Friday with a plum toned pieris bush. I don’t think Sue realized that I would put her gift to immediate use but I simply could not resist. Sue is one the new florists that will be joining the Chapel Designers this year in NYC in just 6 days.  I am so thankful for the many people that support this studio and the incredible blessings they share with me. I am also super thankful to Sue, the plum Pieris made this bouquet oh so “hollyish.”

Its a beauty! Now I need to go get that one at the nursery. I passed it up last week, and been thinking about it since! This confirms it, I need that plant!
