Ali came to me just 2 weeks before her wedding to ask if I could do the flowers. I have to admit I was a little skeptical about this wedding, but me being me, I jumped on board.  I have become accustom to the months of planning that weddings usually require. This wedding was a total freaking home-run and will be one I will adore for years to come. Ali was referred to me by the superstar photographer Kristen Gardener. This wedding was Kristen's first wedding back to work after her maternity leave. Kristen just had her second baby. I love  working with wedding mamas.

I love making the bridal bouquets; it is the one thing I just love doing. I had very little direction from Ali about her bouquet, primarily due to the fact that she did not have a lot of time to think about what she wanted. As a designer, nothing makes me happier than the words, " I trust you, just make me something beautiful." I actually was dying to get my hands on Ali's flowers, in spite of the fact that it was one of five amazing bouquets I needed to make last week.

We have become pros at using burlap and twine the last few weeks.

The wedding took place at a private residence and the total guest count was 20 people. Nothing can be more intimate than this setting.

I have to admit I was drooling when I saw these pictures.

Ali and Jesse have a precious little girl and she was with them as they came down the aisle.

The details from this wedding are over the top.

Ali was the first bride to use my new birch containers, created by my husband Evan. In fact, we sent Ali a care package of rental props and extra flowers for garnish.

Honestly, there are days when I want to shoot myself for always saying yes. This is one of those circumstances where I was rewarded for my flexibility and willingness. Having images like this of my work make all the late hours worth while. Designing the flowers for this wedding was truly a pleasure.

Happy married life Ali and Jesse, and thank you for asking me to be a part of your wedding.

Holly I am IN LOVE with her hair! Is there anyway you can ask the bride who did her hair? I can’t find a decent hair stylist anywhere! Also that headpiece is crazy beautiful. Any ideas where the is from?
    Thanks!
