Oxon Hill is a lovely venue. I was so happy to be there today for Kristin’s wedding. Kristin’s mom and I planned the flowers since Kristin does not live in the area. We discussed flower options with the bride via email and the phone. In spite of the distance we nailed everything perfectly. It is pretty awesome to meet someone for the first time and it just happens to be there wedding day.
Everything was so beautiful and I loved this venue. The gardens are a dream come true for brides and flower fanatics.  Happy Wedding Kristin.

We used green Cymbidium Orchids for the bride, white mini Calla Lily, antique green Hydrangea, white Freesia, white Roses and Fiddle Head Ferns. We bound the bouquet in cream satin ribbon and decorative pins.
The maids carried clusters of white Hydrangea, green button Mums, dogs eye Euphorbia, green Viburnum from my garden, green Carnations, and green Hypericum. We used loops of ribbon in chocolate brown to bring the brown into the bouquet.

We had three styles of centerpieces and I loved them all.

We decorated every mantel with ivy plants as well as cylinders full of floating blossoms and candles. There are four mantels to dress at Oxon Hill.

The cake was also decorated with fresh flowers.

The grounds are amazing and overlook the harbor.

This was a wonderful wedding and I look forward to many more in this location. I have lots of brides planning there big day right here at Oxon Hill.
