Chapel Designers Chapel Designers | Florists
Hi my name is Holly Heider Chapple and I founded the group called the Chapel Designers. Via social media I have had the pleasure of developing relationships with floral designers all across the U. S. & Europe. In 2010 I asked via twitter “who wants to meet me in NYC?.” Much to my surprise 16 designers met me in NYC, for the first annual Chapel Designers event. All of a sudden I was planning a conference. As our trip approached it became very clear that we needed a name for our group. Because we are floral and event designers that direct our talents toward the wedding market, I named the group the “Chapel Designers.” After our first gathering in NYC it became abundantly clear that this group was going to thrive, gather, grow, and hopefully one day set the standard for wedding and event floral designers. We are currently approaching our 3rd trip to NYC and over the last three years we have met with David Beahm, Ariella Chezar, Matthew Robbins, Ed Libby, The Offices of Martha Stewart, Tara Guerard, Photographer Liz Banfield, Julie Sabatino, Ovando and we have had sponsorships or donations from Florabundance, Mayesh, Oasis, Wedding Chicks, and Flower Magazine.
On March 17th, 2013 we will gather again in NYC. This years conference will feature design time at the production offices of NYC designer David Beahm. Designers Karen and Aileen Tran from California will also be in attendance and demonstrating with David at the production offices. If that wasn’t wonderful enough, we just added designer Ariella Chezar to our conference as well. In addition to our celebrity designers, all attendees are asked to meet and contribute in an open forum conference. In this conference we will discus our businesses and our industry. Questions can be asked and advice will be given. In this conference we will also discuss social media, financial planning, sourcing, and business procedures. In addition to this we will have a person on hand to help designers with basic social media needs. Designers will leave the conference with a network of like minded business friends. Although we currently only meet once a year, I myself communicate with Chapel Designers several times a day. So give yourself and your business a gift and become a Chapel Designer. Lots more good stuff is in the works for 2013.
