The Loudoun wedding of Becca and Ben is one of my all time favorite love stories. The couple met while climbing Mount Everest and their remarkable story was featured in the New York times. This wedding was also just featured on Style Me Pretty.  The event was planned and styled by Kate Karlan of Simply Chic Events and photographed by Anne Robert. The wedding venue is one of my favorite places Silverbrook Farm.

Becca carried white cabbage roses, white ranunculus, silver dusty miller, queen annes lace, and spray roses.

Ben’s boutonniere featured scabiosa pods, dusty miler and herbs.

Maids carried bouquets cream stock, yellow billy balls, blue love in the mist, white ranunculus, succulents, and scabiosa pods.

They married under a structure that was adorned with ribbon.

Gorgeous details that told the love story of Ben and Becca were used to seat the guests and style the event.

The flowers were chosen for their color and feel. Sprigs of wild flowers and evergreens were added to the designs to give them a campy feel.

Centerpieces were designed on long king tables and mimicked camp fires or elements found on hike. Small pine cones, bits of moss, and wild flowers adorned the tables. Milk glass vases were added to the tables to bring a big of formality to the design.

I thoroughly enjoyed the final look of these tables. The designs were perfect for a Mount Everest themed wedding.

It was so incredibly fun to be a part of Ben and Becca’s wedding. Happy married life!!!
