I was so thrilled to be the floral designer for Caitlin and Ben’s wedding, in fact I was truly honored. The couple had a church wedding and then a reception at the Fairmont Hotel. I absolutely adore the Fairmont, in fact I spent my 20th wedding anniversary there. Because of this, designing at the Fairmont is always special to me. Prior to the reception, Caitlin and Ben had a church wedding and they were also photographed in DC. The amazing images from this wedding were taken by photographer Kristen Gardner. Kristen is one of my absolute favorite photographers to work with.

I love the photographs of Caitlin and Ben at the monuments.

Caitlin carried a bouquet of white peony, white freesia, white cabbage roses, mini green hydrangea, green hypericum berry, white stock and silver dusty miller.

Maids carried white roses, white freesia, white stock, silver burnia, dusty miller, and mini green hydrangea.

All of the floral designs were created in a clean and classic style.

A full and rich design was created for the place card table. The cocktail area was held in the foyer of the hotel and overlooking an amazing terrace.

Elevated floral designs featured huge balls of white baby’s breath and hanging crystals. The elevated designs were also surrounded by smaller designs in silver mercury glass cups, these cups featured the flowers of the day. Silver votives were added to the tables.

This lovely design was created for the sweetheart table.

Half of the tables featured my crystal stands. At the base of each crystal stand was a cloud of baby’s breath and then a large silver cup of the days flowers.

Happy married life Caitlin and Ben. It was an honor to do your wedding flowers. We LOVED designing for this wedding.
