Hello Holly and Team,

I can’t believe my husband and I have been married for over 4 months already! We have been working with our photographer, Renee Michele,  to get started on our album and I realized I never shared any pictures from our wedding day! Every time I share our beautiful photos with someone, they always remark on how incredibly beautiful our flowers were- so a million thank yous again!

My Mom and I both love and adore flowers, so when it came time to select a florist for our wedding this was one aspect we knew we wanted to take our time on finding just the right person for the job! We spent hours looking in magazines, books and on the internet, but when I came across your website and blog we both knew immediately that you were the one! I believe we even mailed your deposit before we met 🙂
Since we were getting married in the late Fall, I wanted to stay away from the traditional Fall- like colors but I wanted to incorporate natural Fall elements, such as pinecones and magnolia leaves. My bridesmaids wore long black dresses with a chocolate brown sash, so I wanted them to also carry all white bouquets that were slightly different than mine. We wanted our flowers to be classy and traditional to stay with the overall feeling of the Hay Adams Hotel.

During the ceremony, which was in the John Hay Room, both fireplaces were lit to keep guests warm on a cold November evening! We absolutely loved the large arrangement you made that adorned the fireplace that we married in front of! Our reception was then held upstairs on the rooftop and words cannot express how happy I was when Brandon and I walked into the room for the first time! All of the arrangements were gorgeous, and I loved the touch of the gold roses! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing us with the most beautiful flowers! My Mom and I look at the pictures all of the time, and we ALWAYS remark on what an awesome job you did! Don’t be surprised if we call you to do an arrangement for a birthday, anniversary or a baby shower someday 🙂

In the meantime, enjoy the pictures from our big day!

Love,
Carlyn and Brandon, too!

As you might imagine, I was very happy to receive this lovely note and these beautiful images from Carlyn. I adored working with Carlyn and her mother. Being chosen as their floral designer was a huge honor and working with this mother/daughter team was delightful. This wedding was one of my 2011 blessings!!!

Happy married life Carlyn and Brandon, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!!!!
