Catherine and Nate married just a few weekends ago at Tarara Winery. Tarara is a few miles from my home and this vineyard holds a special place in my heart. I love the owners of Tarara and it happens to be one of the most beautiful farms in Loudoun County. The property boasts amazing views of the vineyards, a remarkable lake, and also the Potomac River. Add to that a beautiful and happy couple, an amazing superstar photographer named Katelyn James and you have a picture perfect wedding.

I am obsessed with these detail shots Katelyn took. I love, love, love, these hair pins, one was designed for each maid. My creative mind was spinning when I saw them, I will definitely incorporate the look of these into some of our amazing bouts and corsages. I may even try it today!!

Catherine’s dress was hand made for her by designer  StephanieOBrien. I loved the custom tag that was sewn into the gown. Imagine having a one of a kind gown, that was made just for you, there is something ridiculously special about that.

Now about the flowers, Catherine chose a very simple bouquet she wanted to primarily carry daisies. The white daisies were gathered with peach stock, blue nigella love in the mist, peach stock, bupleurum, white alstroemeria, white spray roses and yellow tansy. The bouquet was bound with twine.

So simple, so sweet, so perfect!!!

Maids carried similar bouquets but on a smaller scale but the peach stock was only used in the bridal bouquet.

I am loving this post!! Thank you photographer Katelyn James, this is full out eye candy!!

Centerpieces were arranged in mason jars with a mix of the days flowers. Lace, books, lanterns and votives were added to each table.

Lawn games offered lots of fun for guests of all ages.

This was an amazing wedding and one that I was honored to be a part of. Happy married life Nate and Catherine, it was such a pleasure!!
