Periodically we are asked to create a particular style or color of bouquet by magazine editors.  The hope is that the bouquets will be chosen for publication. Several weeks ago we delighted in creating some bouquets for a particular magazine. Now that they have chosen the bouquet that they would potentially like to feature, these lovely designs are now a part of my portfolio. One of the requests was for a bouquet Greige in tone, grey – beige. I started with amnesia roses, grey kangaroo paws, dusty miller, and grey brunia.

As we photographed the bouquet we added things like the guinea hen feathers.

We also added jeweled beading and trim to the stems just in case the publication was looking for a little bling.

We were also asked to create a bouquet of mint green and red tones. We chose red tulips, red ranunculus, green tea roses, green amaranthus, and lime green sweet peas. The bouquet was bound with red satin ribbon and decorative pins.

During the shoot we played with the images, by adding a red sweater to the model and we also added jewels to the stems of the bouquet.

At the very last minute I threw together this red and blue bouquet for a patriotic inspired request.

Keep following us,  the hidden lovely we created on this day, could potentially be published very soon.

Thanks to Vicki Grafton who photographed the bouquets, and to my daughter Hannah who happened to be willing to jump into Vicki's dress. Vicki is a local stylist and wedding planner who is also honing her skills as a photographer. Lucky me!!!!!

Love these! Especially the randomness of the last bouquet!
