Courtney's wedding was just last weekend but photographer Joylyn Hannahs has already managed to get me these awesome images. This wedding was super special to both me and Joylyn. First off, Courtney is as sweet as pie! Years ago we saw her in her mama's tummy. Mrs. W.  her mom was a P.E. teacher at Loudoun County high school and both Joylyn and I knew her mother. I can promise you that as a kid in high school, I never imagined I would become a florist and get to do the wedding flowers for the baby growing in my teachers tummy. Life is so funny!!!

Courtney carried a bouquet of blue thistle, seeded euc, orange crocosmia, Don's amazing dahlias, orange gomphrena, green hydrangea, and orange spray roses.

Maids carried green hydrangea, green roses, orange dahlias, blue thistle, orange asclepias, green hypericum berry, seeded euc, and a collar of angel vine.

Angel vine is the brown twiggy stuff we love to use in the fall. We also are totally into wrapping the bouquets with twine.

I am freaking in love with this shot Joylyn captured. In fact I simply love working with Joylyn and you should stop by her website and blog and visit with her, I find myself hanging out there for hours. She is a Loudoun County girl and a total gem with an awesome studio in downtown Leesburg.

The wedding took place at St. Francis De Sales church in Purcellville, VA., with a reception at Sunset Hills Vineyard.

I am so glad I had the foresight to hit auctions and antique shops last fall to gather my collection of blue mason jars. I have used them endlessly and they bring me great joy each time I place them on a table.

I have one final wedding to report from last weekend. I honestly am so proud of what we have been accomplishing, each piece, each design, each wedding is truly inspired. My heart is full of the love I am surrounded by each weekend. I am blessed beyond belief with a fabulous family that allows me to continue in this business, flower shop girls and boys that carry so much of the load, and fellow vendors and venues that take the responsibility of the wedding industry so seriously. WE ROCK and the people we work with ROCK as well. You will find that we are only associated with the very best in the industry, this ensures that my brides get the love, and service they need.
