On Saturday night I decided I wanted to play with my new video camera. I purchased the camer in March, and I have yet to do my first video blog. I was about to make a bridal bouquet, and I thought what the heck, I will give this a try while I am making my bouquet.  I am honestly surprised with how easy it was and how comfortable I am explaining my art. The part that I think is so funny is my inability to edit the tape. The big huge pauses before I get in front of the camera and the one at the end of the video simply crack me up. I set the camera up on a bucket and I had to walk around my design table to turn it on and off.  All in all it was kind of fun, and because I am comfortable with not being perfect, I will let you see my first video blog. That is, unless it comes to your wedding flowers–those are always perfect.

The end result of this video was this wonderful bridal bouquet.

Centerpieces for this wedding were created with pink spray roses, peach oceana roses, cream hydrangea, seeded euc, peach carnations and cream hydrangea.

Notice how I am gritting my teeth. I find myself doing this when I am designing. I am always super tense when I am working on the wedding cake.

This wedding was simply beautiful, and I want to wish Amanda a happy married life. Thank you for allowing me to be  a part of your wedding.

It was a real treat watching the video of you making my bouquet Holly! Your flower designs were UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL.
They were exactly exactly what I wanted. I didn’t even necessarily know how to express to you what I wanted, and you got it exactly right. What made me love the flowers even more were all the little details which I did not tell you I wanted which you threw in as details- like those tiny fuzzy pink things poking out here and there, and those sort of harder green/blue/grey leaves – they looked almost like bay leaves- those looked so natural and gardeny. I loved everything so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Everything was soft and delicate and beautiful, and put together with so much love.
