My third stop on Saturday was Raspberry Plains estate in Leesburg VA.  This wedding was so much fun to be a part of. Event designer and planner Vicki Grafton of My Simple Details was the stylist behind this wedding. With both of us hard at work the look came together like magic.

We used lambs ear and dusty miller in the bouquets to enhance the blue of the maids dresses.  One of my favorite creative moments of this wedding was the insertion of burlap into the maids bouquets. There is a little tan pod called scabiosa and we hoped to use those in the maids bouquets. Scabiosa is not quite available so we had to come up with a tan accent for the bouquets. We were already wrapping the stems of the bouquets with burlap, so we decided we would make little clusters of burlap and pull them through the flowers. We LOVE this new burlap flower option and we can't wait to use them in the future.

We used lizzy, green hypericum berry, white peony buds, lots of white freesia, white ranunculus, green viburnum, and dogs eye euphorbia.

We had 3 different centerpiece styles.  The wedding party sat at a long family style seating table. I shot this photograph before Vicki the planner got the burlap runner placed. We also had a ton of decor and accents for this very special table.

Clusters of 3 vases were used and the jars were tied with twine.

The final centerpiece featured a vase with wrapped burlap. We used white hydrangea, green hydrangea, white peony, white ranunculus, white freesia, and green hypericum berry.

Happy married life Heather. Your wedding was stunning and I am so glad I got to be a part of your day.
