Saturday was Katie's wedding day, she married at the Stables at Bluemont Vineyard.  Katie is a horse lover so the setting of the stables was ideal for her. I adore these images of Katie and her groom out in the vineyard just below the big wedding barn.

Katie carried a bouquet of white peonies, white mini callas with the purple center, green hydrangeas and a whole host of other purple and lavender blossoms.

Maids carried bouquets of green spider mums, white and purple lizzy, lavender phlox, green hydrangea, green hypericum berry, and green cabbage roses.

I purchased antique cake plates from "On A Whim" to use for the centerpieces.

We used clusters of mason jars for half of the tables.

This wedding was very special to me. I was in love with Katie's, tough stuff, New York lawyer dad.  I considered it a huge honor that I was chosen  to do the flowers for his daughter. In addition to that I connected to Katie's love of horses. The good news is Katie is moving to Lucketts and now she gets to hang out with my tough stuff, horsey mom. Mom has lots of horses for Katie to ride.

This was a match made in heaven.
